Some girl friendly hotels in Pattaya have a policy of only allowing girls (or ladyboys) who are over 20 years old to accompany their guests back to their rooms. There are also hotels in Pattaya that allow joiners as long as they are over 18 years old.
The legal age for drinking alcohol in Thailand is 20, while the age of consent is lower. While confirming the guest friendly policies for this site we also confirm if the hotel has any age limitations (18 years old and over, or 20 years old and over.)
It would be a bummer if you took a girl back to your room only for the hotel to refuse entry because she was under 20 years old. This is why we have compiled a list of Pattaya guest friendly hotels that allow joiners under 20 years old; that is, hotels that are not only girl and ladyboy friendly, but have also confirmed that they will allow joiners who are 18 or 19 years old.
Stay out of trouble
If you are going to be playing around with girls in Thailand you should make it a personal policy to check her national ID card BEFORE bar fining her or taking her back to your room. In the old days it was a little more difficult because the year of birth was only written in the Thai Buddhist calendar year (2523 for example). Being able to verify that the girl is telling you the truth required you to know what the current Buddhist year was and do some subtraction- which could prove tricky at midnight with a few under the belt.
But nowadays you have no excuse as the western year that you would be familiar with appears under the date of birth in Thai and “Date of Birth” clearly written in English. While it is highly unlikely that any bar will allow any under 18 year olds to work there, do you really want to place your trust in a mama san and risk the consequences if you get caught with an underage girl? Do yourself a favor and always check.

The Classroom
The Classroom is a Pattaya favorite. An adults only hotel that was designed specifically for people who love to party in Pattaya. Very nice new Pattaya 4 star hotel that allows joiners under 20 years old, and features stylish and spacious rooms. According to Agoda it ranks better than 99% of Pattaya hotels in service, cleanliness and location. The location is excellent, situated in Soi Buakhao, an area renowned for its lively and vibrant nightlife, including the popular LK Metro and Treetown. The beach is 700 meters away. There is a large rooftop pool, but no gym.
